Only the wallet holding the update authority can edit metadata.
Updating an NFT costs 0.1 SOL. Updating a Collection costs 0.25 SOL.
How to use Update NFT Metadata
- Connect your Solana wallet (must be the update authority of the NFT or collection).
- Select the NFT or collection you want to update from your wallet.
- Enter the new metadata: name, symbol, image, description, attributes, and external URL.
- Click on Update NFT and approve the transaction in your wallet.
- Wait a few seconds for the on-chain update to confirm and indexers to refresh.
- Verify the updated metadata on Solscan, Magic Eden, or Tensor.
