Solana, by a wide margin, followed by the L2s. Ethereum L1 is the most expensive because every recipient pays L1 gas. The comparison table above lists the per-wallet fee for all ten.
There is no cap on the list. It is split into batches sized to fit the network's transaction limit, and you sign once per batch.
Yes. Each CSV row carries its own amount, so a proportional distribution works the same as a flat one.
Only that batch fails. The batches that already confirmed stay confirmed, and you can retry the failed one without re-sending to wallets that already received their tokens.
On Solana a recipient without a token account for your token needs one created, and that carries a small rent cost included in the preview. On EVM networks and Sui no setup is required.

Which network should you use for an airdrop?
The network decides what the airdrop costs, and the gap is large. On Solana the per-wallet fee is a fraction of a cent, so a 10,000-wallet distribution is routine. On Ethereum the same list costs orders of magnitude more, because every recipient pays L1 gas. If your holders are not already on Ethereum, the cheaper networks do the same job for a fraction of the total.
The second factor is where your token already trades. Airdropping on a network with no liquidity for your token leaves recipients holding something they cannot sell, which converts badly. Distribute where the pool is.
What a batch is, and why it matters
A multisender does not send one transaction per recipient. It groups recipients into batches and sends one transaction per batch, which is what makes the per-wallet cost collapse. The batch size is set by the network: how many transfers fit inside one transaction before it exceeds the block limit.
You sign once per batch, not once per wallet. A 1,000-wallet distribution is a handful of signatures rather than a thousand.
Preparing the recipient list
The list is a CSV with one address and one amount per row. Addresses are validated before anything is sent, so a malformed row is caught in the preview rather than mid-distribution.
